I still haven't written my post about Freddy, yet, but I think that with your husband's fond memories and mine and my daughter's enjoyment of them, you should try Freddy Goes to the North Pole, the first one that we read together. She just checked out another one from the library today.
I initially got Book Snob on that one (gasp!), so I tweaked some answers and became a Literate Good Citizen. Then I answered for myself as a teenager and became a Dedicated Reader.
I think the real problem is my reading intentions no longer match my ability to perform.
hahahaha...I scored as a Book Snob, lol, with Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm, Dedicated Reader, and Literate Good Citizen coming after in that order.
What is the historical background behind the novella in regard with the victorian era(how the high class and low class were expected to be different,darwins theory of evolution, debate of scince vs religeon.etc..)
