I stole this from Semicolon's blog.
Books You’ve Been Planning To Read For Ages:
Pollyanna, by Eleanor H. Porter
The Bride of Lammermoor, by Sir Walter Scott
The Kingdom and the Power: Rediscovering the Centrality of the Church, by Peter Leithart
Books You’ve Been Hunting For Years Without Success:
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, by James Thurber
Books Dealing With Something You’re Working On At The Moment:
Dare to Discipline, by Dr. James Dobson
The War Against Boys, by Christina Hoff Sommers
Books You Want To Own So They’ll Be Handy Just In Case:
How am I to narrow down this list? If I don't own and its a book I always wonder if I'll want it "just in case."
Books You Could Put Aside Maybe To Read This Summer:
My "maybe" list is long. We own a slew of P.G. Wodehouse books that I haven't read yet but I only like to read Wodehouse every so often.
Books You Need To Go With Other Books On Your Shelves:
Like I said, if I don't own it I'm pretty sure I need it most of the time. I need the last few books in the Jan Karon Mitford series.
The Way to Slumbertown, by L. M. Montgomery. And I need her diaries. And I need about 10 undiscovered manuscripts besides.
Books That Fill You With Sudden, Inexplicable Curiosity, Not Easily Justified:
This pretty much applies to anything I haven't read and have seen on a bookshelf some place.
Books You Needn’t Read or Books That Everybody’s Read So It’s As If You Had Read Them, Too
Left Behind by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins
The Davinci Code by Dan Brown
Books You Mean To Read But There Are Others You Must Read First
Oh my goodness. This list is scads long. I'm making myself wait to read anymore Funke books until I finish a few other books laying around the house that I bought and haven't read. I just bought The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor and I'm anxious to get to that also.
Books That If You Had More Than One Life You Would Certainly Also Read But Unfortunately Your Days Are Numbered
Anything by Karen Kingsbury, Jannette Oake or Lori Wick. You get the idea. ;)

I think I have a photocopied version of Walter Mitty somewhere (had to read it for a college class). If I find it, I'll send it on.
Great list. I especially love, "If I don't own and its a book I always wonder if I'll want it "just in case."
You can't have too many books.
I see that you successfully changed your picture. I'm glad you didn't change the quote. I've been meaning to write about that for a while now. Maybe this weekend.
C, I just emailed you a link to where you can buy a copy of Mitty. One is about $20 and the other $60. :)
