This week's Booking Through Thursday asks the following question:
“This can be a quick one. Don’t take too long to think about it. Fifteen books you’ve read that will always stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in no more than 15 minutes.”
This is the list I came up with:
1. The Bible
2. Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery
3. The Blue Castle, by Lucy Maud Montgomery
4. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, by C.S. Lewis
6. Face to Face, by Steve Wilkins
7. Gleanings from Joshua, by A.W. Pink
8. The Great Lives Series: Esther, by Charles Swindoll
9. Grace-Based Parenting, by Tim Kimmel
And that's as far as my list takes me off the top of my head!!! That's an interesting exercise. Perhaps those are the titles I should spend the rest of my life focued on, eh?
Well, I DO plan on focusing on the Narnia books again during the Chronicles of Narnia Reading Challenge which I'm hosting here. Come back June 19th if you'd care to join in!
Happy BTT!

Great list! Here is mine:
Your top two are on my list. Though I was kind of shocked at how long it took for the Bible to occur to me. I mean, the Bible's not a book...it's the *Bible* so I guess I just wasn't thinking of it as "just" a book that stuck out to me! ;-)
Great list - I love LM Montgomery. Have you read the Emily series?
I haven't read any of the books on your list, but just read a book where the main character loves the Anne of Green Gable books. It is called Love Walked In, have you read it?
There are some on your list I haven't read.
I'd love to reread Narnia some time but I have so many TBR books stacked up, I don't know when I'll revisit them.
Narnia and Anne of Green Gables both should have been on my list!
Out of the Narnia series I've only read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I need to get to the rest soon. Here's mine.
I had the Bible #1 on my list as well. I've read the Chronicles of Narnia series at least 6 times. Love it!
I had a feeling I'd see Anne on your list:)
I really enjoyed reading and re-reading Chronicles of Narnia & Anne of Green Gables ages ago. Made it a point not to include any children's books in this list though.
Here's mine
This is a neat idea that I'll have to do on a rainy day (okay, it's raining right now, but you know what I mean).
I have read about half those, and they're good!
Great list! I may have to do the same only tomorrow--Booking Through Friday? (I'm too tired for my brain to work properly...)
Great list! I have a few of those books on my wish list :)
Enjoy your weekend!

Oh yes, the Chronicles of Narnia. It's been ages since I've read those. My post is up now.
