Now, birthdays typically involve cakes, balloons, party games and presents, right? Some of this is hard to do on the blog but in honor of the occasion, here's what I'm going to do.
* I have a few giveaways to host so that I can send some presents your way.
* I'm not much a fan of party games, but we'll play something like 20 Questions or Trivia Pursuit: Carrie of Reading to Know Edition.
Is there something that you'd like to know about me personally, about the books I've read, or the habits I have in blog keeping or reading?
Leave a comment in this post asking some questions and I'll write up some answers and post them for you on my birthday.
**Those who asks questions (and leave them in this post) may win prizes. **
Come back Friday, September 4th for the birthday fun! (Now here's a question for YOU....which of my 5 Minutes for Books teammates shares the same birthday with me?)

Happy almost birthday, Carrie. I'd like to know if there are any contemporary authors (children or adult books), that you'd like to have dinner with.
And, if you could spend time with LMM or CSL, what would you ask them?
Oh, man. If YOUR birthday is in 2 weeks, then that means MY birthday is in 2 weeks! Didn't I just celebrate a birthday (and a momentous one at that)? :)
No, seriously, I don't mind birthdays...yet. And it's fun knowing I celebrating alongside a blog friend!
Okay, what do I want to know...hmmmm...I'll have to think on it...
An early HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Were you born on Labor Day? I'm not asking the year, bec I don't want to tell!!
I ask because I was, and my Dad's joke is that it is the only day my Mom ever worked! I'm on the 3rd.

happy early birthday! Hope you get balloons and fun!
question: in what ways are you getting ready for baby#2?
:)
Oh, I love Birthdays too. Parties are fun also. Can't wait.
Well, it must be Lisa who shares the same B.day as you.
Here's my question:
What is your all time favorite Children's classic?
I know it's not ME! Ha!
I feel like your life is an open book, so I can't think of a question.
I was just searching your blog for your Penderwicks review after reading about it on Carrie K's blog, but I can't find it.
Happy Birthday!! I'm guessing you share a the day with Lisa? :)
1. Which book review was the hardest for you to write?
2. Which was the easiest to write?
3. Is there a book you just can't bring yourself to review?
September means our favorite time of the year is just around the corner! Soon we will have pumkin pie and Christmas trees! WOO HOO!
Query:
If you had a chance to bury a book in a time capsule and someone had already put in Anne, what would you put in?
!
Oh, I'll have to think about this one. . .
I see everybody else is asking bookish questions, so I think I'll ask a more personal history/life one: how did you meet your husband?
Oh, and here's a bookish one:
What's one book you've never read that you've always meant to?
(You don't have to answer the first question if you don't want to!)
What a fun give-a-way! You have such creative ideas!
I would like to know how and when you find the time to read and blog as much as you do?
I like Amy's bookish question. Let's see if I can think of another...was there a single book that sparked or fueled your love for reading?
When you said the date, I knew it was Lisa (it's also my sister's birthday, so I'm sure to remember!)
What sort of book would you write, were you to write a book?
