(I can't actually believe that I'm posting an image of Bella Swan on my site. And no, I haven't read - nor do I really plan to - The Twilight Series. Hate me or love me for it. It holds no appeal for me.)An acquaintance of mine wrote The Private Diary of Bella Swan. (Click on the title to see it.) Now THIS is Twilight I can enjoy!

I laughed, too. I finally succumbed to the pressure and read the first book. It was about what I expected, but I was a bit surprised at how poorly written it was. But at least now I can say, "Why, I HAVE read it" when people say I just have to.
