I AM HAPPY BECAUSE:
1. My best friend from law school arrives TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have enough exclamation points at hand that wouldn't kill the point and annoy you thoroughly. Here we are last time she came:

2. The L.M. Montgomery Reading Challenge is underway as of yesterday and I bought one of those lockets I was talking about to give away as part of the challenge. I LOVE Lucy Maud Montgomery. She's a perfect way for me to start a reading year. For me, she promotes beauty, imagination and peace and therefore I love hosting this challenge.
3. We all got sick on Christmas or directly thereafter but as of this moment, noses aren't running away and we're all healthy (and ready to see my friend that I briefly mentioned to you earlier).
4. This cup (that Jonathan gave me for Christmas) makes me very happy:
5. And, not to repeat myself or anything, but this whole anticipated weekend just makes me very, very happy!

I have gotten into reading L.M. Montgomery this last year. Finally read all the Anne books and few of her other books as well. I really enjoyed every book I read!

While I watch Anne of Green Gables regularly, I have to admit I have never read one book of L.M. Montgomery. I just might have to remedy that.

Hey - I gave that same cup to Chad for Christmas! My thinking was that if he didn't like it, *I* would have to appropriate it for myself. But...he likes it. Oh well! :)
