In case you needed some encouragement, here are some some travel videos on Prince Edward Island to whet your appetite. Maybe one year I can host the Lucy Maud Montgomery Reading Challenge FROM Prince Edward Island. A dream is a wish your heart makes..... (Although if that were the case, I might want to move the challenge to June or something!)
This is the (fully operational) West Point Lighthouse Inn that I was fortunate enough to stay at when I visited the Island years ago. And it's true! I appreciated the beauty of the wild.
As the man says on this video, when you leave you the Island you'll be thinking about the next time you can go back!
Sigh. Someday.

I am by no means a traveler, but I do hope to see PEI some day.
This is definitely something I would like to do. My grandparents have visited PEI quite a few times since my grandfather still has family up there (that's where his parents were from). Hopefully we'll get a chance to go as well.
I would love to go there someday - so beautiful!
Count me in! I'd love to go to PEI. My brother and his wife have three daughters; they used to have a yearly pilgrimage to PEI. I love the stories that came out of those trips.
Thanks for posting the videos. A sight for snow-weary eyes.
Carol in Oregon . . . a yearly trip!? Sigh.
Such lovely videos! PEI is definitely on my wishlist of places to visit, but from all the way over here in England, it's not likely to happen. It looks stunning, though.
I am not much of a traveler, but that is one place I'd love to visit. Do you read a blog called Islandsparrow from PEI? She always had gorgeous pictures.
I adore those Island accents! *sigh* let me know when you move the challenge to Cavendish. I will definatley attend that book club!
Barbara H. - Yes, I do follow her. Her pictures ARE amazing and I spend every FFF sighing my life away.
Anita - Oh you bet! I'll let the WHOLE WIDE WORLD know! =D (Wouldn't that just be so fun!?)
Ever since reading Anne for the first time in the sixth grade, I have always wanted to visit Prince Edward Island!
What a beautiful, magical, place!
Like you said, someday... :)
How about instead of hosting LMM Challenge you host a vacation giveaway to PEI? :)
SMB - ho. ho. ho.
